Insulation WA – Glasswool Building Blanket™

Glasswool Building Blanket™ is a lightweight, flexible and resilient glasswool material (sometimes referred to as mineral wool), providing thermal insulation performance with the added benefit of being an effective sound absorption material.

These products can be used in conjunction with a Sisalation® vapour barrier foil under the blanket where condensation prevention is required (see Permastop™ datasheet). Glasswool Building Blanket™ provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation when installed under metal deck roofs and in metal clad walls.

Insulation WA – Deck-Mate™

Deck-Mate™ Styrofoam Thermal Spacers (with a density of 32kg/m3) are made from high compressive strength 300kpa closed cell styrofoam meaning they won’t absorb moisture.

Deck-Mate™ is also available in 1250mm long strips.

Fletcher Insulation Deck-Mate™ Spacer in the BCA (Building Code of Australia) – widely known as Part J. These provisions clearly specify the minimum deemed-to-satisfy levels of insulation required for commercial buildings.

The use of Fletcher Insulation™ Deck-Mate™ Spacer above the glasswool insulation blanket allows for the blanket to recover to its nominal thickness and achieve the total R-values.

Australia’s leading metal deck roofing manufacturers have approved the use of Deck-Mate™ Thermal Spacer with most of their roofing systems.
